We’re sailors, scientists, fishers, storytellers, rebels and reef lovers sailing the waters of Aotearoa New Zealand and the Pacific Islands, uncovering stories of ocean life, restoring marine ecosystems, and inspiring the next generation of changemakers.

 

Eco Pirates is a community-driven crew dedicated to:Marine and environmental conservation, Adventure education, Leadership and personal development, Creative storytelling & Cultural connection.

 

We drive projects that contribute to the social, cultural, spiritual and economic development of members and the commuities we work in. ​

 

Whether it’s planting coral in Samoa, cleaning up coastlines in Christchurch, or dancing barefoot under the stars on a pirate boat — we do it with purpose, passion, and a splash of mischief.​​​We’re always looking for new pirates, volunteers, dreamers, doers, and sea-huggers.
